Job Description:
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a
qualified senior academic nurse leader who is an energetic thought
leader in nursing education dedicated to meeting the needs of a
dynamic, global society and diverse student population. As a

inter-professional collaboration in research, education, and
practice. A comprehensive understanding of health systems and
business acumen to support successful collaboration, a proven
record of achievement.The Associate Dean for Nursing Research (
ADNR ) for the School of Nursing-Camden ( SNC ), will report to the
Dean of the SNC and work with the school's leadership team to
develop, strengthen and increase scholarship and research
resources, enhancing the SNC's global recognition as a center of
excellence in nursing education. In addition to identifying
potential local, state, national and international sources of
funding support for faculty, staff and doctoral students, the ADNR
will promote collaborative relationships with schools, colleges and
other institutional entities and centers within and outside Rutgers
University. The ADNR will also mentor faculty in their attainment
of scholarship and grant funding, as well as implement and monitor
systematic support and metrics that facilitate these opportunities.
The ADNR will be responsible for increasing the SNC's success in
obtaining sponsored research and development grants, in terms of
number, quality, scope and funding. The successful applicant for
this position will teach Research and Evidence-Based Practice
Courses at the Undergraduate and Graduate levels.Minimum Education
and Experience A doctorate in nursing or a related field (PhD, DNP
, or EdD required) Demonstrated practice experience as an advanced
practice nurse ( ANP or FNP preferred) Recognized scholarly
experience as evidenced by academic accomplishments, publications,
and service commensurate with the rank of appointment Teaching
experience/expertise in both undergraduate and graduate programs
Experience in research, mentoring, funding development, leadership,
implementation, and evaluation of academic, clinical innovation and
evidence-based practice initiatives Preferred
Qualifications:---Evidence of mentoring junior faculty,
postdoctoral fellows, and doctoral students.---Experience building
interdisciplinary partnerships and research teams.---Culturally
aware, accepting of multiple forms of diversity (ideologic,
scientific, ethnic, etc.)Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Active program of scholarship and history of grant support Prior
academic administration and leadership experience Adaptable,
flexible team player with collaborative style Inspirational and
enthusiastic leadership approach Strong interpersonal and
team-building skills Superior written and verbal communication
