Job Description:
Summary:The purpose of the One to One Observer is to provide
personal constant observation of a patient.He/She will also
Communicate with and support healthcare team, patients and/or
patient's family or significant other(s).They will also maintain
and demonstrate high standards of professional ethics.Position
Responsibilities:--- Provides constant one-to-one observation of
assigned patient which includes providing a safe environment and
positive interaction in a calm environment.--- Provides restraint
care to patients in restraints.--- Identifies and communicates
changes in patient's status to RN and responds appropriately.---
Assists in orientation of healthcare team.--- Other duties as
assigned.Position Qualifications Required / Experience
Required:Must have strong communication skills.Required
Education:High School diploma or
GED.Training/Certifications/Licensure:Successful completion of
Observer course or equivalent is mandatory.
