Relocation/housing allowance assistance will not be offered for this role.Program OverviewCampbell Soup Company is looking for a student in nutrition and dietetics for a 12-week internship starting in late May in the Nutrition & Health Sciences department. The selected candidate will work under the direction of the Nutrition Communications Manager and gain exposure to projects focused on the role of nutrition professionals in the food industry. The intern will work with cross-functional teams including food and applied scientists, regulatory analysts, chefs, product developers, test kitchen staff, and marketers. Students will be part of the Nutrition & Health Sciences team and work alongside experienced professionals on critical projects.Your OpportunityCollect, organize, and analyze product nutrition reports and competitor data.Apply nutrition criteria to new product development or recipe development projects.Assess product claims for regulatory compliance.Work with various cross-functional professionals.Complete a nutrition-related project based on student interest and departmental needs.Complete internal guidance documents on a nutrition and/or regulatory topic.Develop nutrition communication materials for digital and other communication platforms.Complete a prototyping project to inspire a nutrition-led innovation opportunity, inclusive of competitive assessment, literature review, and concept development.Job ComplexityCandidate must be able to organize and analyze datasets, draw appropriate conclusions, provide feedback and recommendations and draft clear and concise reports and recommendations. Candidate must also be able to work well as part of a team with diverse viewpoints.What you'll need:Currently a senior pursuing a BS in Nutrition and Dietetics and already accepted into a Master's degree program upon completion of the summer internship.3.0 GPA or higherInterest in working in the food industryProficiency in Microsoft Office and intermediate skill in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Data management and assessment skillsGood verbal and written communication skillsAbility to turn feedback into resultsSelf-starter, works independently with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work comfortably in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentWell-grounded in nutrition science and dietary guidance.Approved to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship or assistance from the companyApplication Instructions:Interested candidates must submit a cover letter or alternative writing sample and resume to be considered for the nutrition intern position.Disclaimer:A summerinternposition creates opportunities for a student to gain real work experience in their desired career field during a 12-week period.This particular summer internship position is not a full-time conversion eligible role.
