Job Description:



RVM is looking for a Maintenance Manager to oversee and assist our staff of maintenance technicians. This position will be responsible for managing the maintenance process from beginning to end; ensuring all calls are handled appropriately and needed staff and materials are provided. The ideal candidate should have prior management experience and should be skilled in basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and carpentry.



Experience/Skills Required:



--- Basic plumbing knowledge to assess leaks, clogs, or other drainage problems



--- Basic electrical knowledge to manage problems with unit's electrical system



--- Carpentry ability to handle basic home repairs including door, cabinet and window repairs



--- Painting spackle/drywall repair



--- Attention to detail to ensure that all tasks are completed in an exemplary manner



--- Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines with little field supervision.



--- Must feel comfortable going into resident homes and developing a rapport with our tenants.



--- Problem solving and organizational skills are a must.







Qualifications:



--- Candidate needs to have transportation to and from job sites



--- Spanish speaking preferred but not required



--- Must have a valid Driver's License



--- Minimum 5 years' experience required
