Department: ClaimsJob SummaryHighly motivated individuals are being sought to work in a fast paced environment to assist clients with reporting claims and claim issues. Claims include both personal and commercial lines as well as both property and casualty claims.Principal Responsibilities

• Provide support to a team of 2 people to include a Claim Consultant and a Senior Claim Consultant.
• Report claims to insurance carriers and follow up to ensure that the carrier received the claim notice.
• Follow up with insurance adjusters and provide status updates on open claims and follow through until resolution.
• Serve as a claim advocate for a book of business which includes personal risk services customers, as well as small commercial clients.
• Assist consultants with claim review preparation which includes obtaining status updates and putting together the claim review booklet.
• Request loss runs from insurance carriers in preparation for claim analyses or policy renewal.Other Functions
  • Other clerical or customer services duties as needed.
  • Assist with answering customer service claim lineRequirements
    • 3-5 Years Property Claim Experience, preferably with an insurance carrier
    • Familiarity with large commercial catastrophic and complex insurance property claims
    • Strong interpersonal, verbal and communication skills
    • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skillsSpecialized Knowledge or Licenses
      • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required
      • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook is a plusWorking ConditionsOffice environment with moderate noise level; Able to work beyond scheduled hours and travel -to other Conner Strong & Buckelew offices or to client work sites if necessary.Conner Strong & Buckelew is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
