Caesars Rewards, is the casino industry's most popular loyalty program The position will be part of the Loyalty Externalization and Partnerships (LEAP) Team. The team is responsible for product development of the LEAP Platform which is a proprietary system geared towards improving access to the Caesars Entertainment Loyalty programs for external partners and Caesars Entertainment employees. Advise user departments about functional design and impact on departmental operations. Consult with user departments in the analysis of manual and automated systems; assists in presentation of detailed functional specifications, formats, and templates. Suggests solutions to problems presented that fit within the operating limitations of equipment. Maintain the confidential nature of matters pertaining to company records and policies Product Development & Quality assurance: Ensure systems meet the business needs of users by acting as a liaison and working with users and user representatives regarding system change requests and specific business requirements design. Develop automated tests to cover internal system acceptance testing, ensuring delivery of well-tested system enhancements, and further ensuring systems meet business requirements. Implement appropriate program monitoring to identify any unexpected behavior and route appropriately. Participate in code reviews and provide input to improve program logic. Product Delivery and Support: Partner with the team and end users to update program and training documentation to assist with communication across the organization. Drive for quick resolution for any production issues to mitigate current impacts. Propose any appropriate development/solution that may be required longer term. Trouble-shoot incidents reported by end-users, escalating where necessary to schedule system changes, and discussing resolutions with end-users to arrive at a permanent solution. Qualifications: Software development experience involving systems analysis and design, development, testing, implementation, and training preferred Working knowledge of C#, Event Based Messaging, and SQL Queries Experience in SOA or Restful service development is preferred Experience with Windows Servers Experience with JIRA/Confluence or similar Agile collaboration tools is a plus Knowledge of the casino industry or rewards programs in general, is a plus Must be a self-starter with an inquisitive mind that actively seeks opportunities to improve programs Deductive reasoning skills
