Summary This position provides a full range of corporate
communications and public relations leadership to the Campbell
Snacks sales organization including, home and field office
associates and the Direct Sales Distributor (DSD) network. This is
a hands-on role that requires strong business acumen and a broad
knowledge of communications and public relations coupled with the
ability to build strong, collaborative relationships and
credibility with executive leaders, field sales and other
stakeholders. Responsibilities
- Manage internal and external corporate communications for the
Campbell Snacks sales organization.
- Ensures consistency of tone, look and feel of communication and
adherence to overall company communications strategy, priorities
and culture. Includes communications and content development across
all major sales channels.
- Support executive communications for the SVP, Campbell Snacks
Sales. Helps maintain a high presence for SVP to all employees,
especially Snacks sales through channels including: small group
meetings, town halls, and Workplace. Builds external visibility for
SVP among trade publications and trade conferences. Build speaker
and media confidence via speaker and media training and
coaching.
- Work closely with the Snacks Sales Leadership Team to help them
craft communications to all audiences: employees, customers, home
office associates, field office associates and DSD.
- Be a critical member of the team on the strategy and
implementation of customer Top to Top and Integrated Business
Planning meetings.
- Lead snacks/food industry and trade publication media
relations. Work to promote Campbell products, people and programs
in key publications and serve as sales organization spokesperson.
Craft industry recognition as necessary.
- Collaborate with head of Snacks Sales Strategy on communication
strategy for One Team News on One Team Information Center
(OTIC).
- Maintain a content calendar that maximizing communications
especially during key drive times. Description
- Lead strategy and execution of year-long campaigns jointly
designed and defined by this role with the Chief Customer Officer
of Snacks (i.e. All in to Win, .
- Provide as needed support for all major industry events for
Campbell Snacks, including FMI, Expo West, IDBBA, NECS, ABC.
- Support National Sales Meeting communications and
coordination.
- Tactical lead for all communications to customers and the sales
organization as part of the larger crisis communications team (i.e.
recalls, food quality, crisis and safety issues and other customer
concerns).
- Collaborate and partner with Manager, Campbell Meals &
Beverages Sales Communications to ensure One Campbell voice to
customers as needed (especially for Top-to-Top, IBP and industry
events).
- Other responsibilities may be assigned. Experience
- Minimum of 7 years communications experience, preferably in a
corporate setting, with previous Consumer Packaged Goods experience
preferred.
- Must have a strong background in developing messages on behalf
of a corporation and its executives for internal and external use.
This includes a wide range of communications tactics both formal
and information, including news releases, Workplace content,
digital content, PowerPoint presentations, emails, speeches, videos
and more.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills with
experience building large-scale events.
- Leverage new technologies to enhance communications and
collaboration across the sales organization.
Education/Licenses/Professional Designations Bachelor's degree in
Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Business Administration or
other relevant discipline required. Advanced degree a plus. Skills

- Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and presentation
skills.

- Strong professional presence and the ability to effectively
work with executive leadership.
- Ability to effectively influence others, develop credibility
and build relationships inside and outside the organization
(executives, leaders, associates, external parties).
- Must be familiar and fluent to administer, post and manage
social media platforms as well as Sharepoint and other
collaboration tools.
- Excellent collaborator with other areas of Campbell, navigating
across the organization, to build consensus across functions to
achieve common goals.
- Good judgment and excellent decision-making capabilities.
- Strong results orientation. Effectively prioritizes work and
manages to deadlines.
- Outstanding skills in working with external partners and
agencies.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to quickly learn the CPG
