The Work: As a member of the RMS SEMS Electronic, Ground Cyber and Electronic Warfare (GCEW) Business Development team this individual will support our market segment growth objectives consistent with our Cyber and EW market strategies. This individual will interface with customers primarily in the Intelligence Community and DoD. • The focus of this position is on customer engagement (establishing and executing contact plans, conducting customer workshops and demonstrations, and understanding customer requirements), keeping current business sold, identifying and qualifying new business opportunities consistent with our growth strategies, responding to proposals and closing on new business orders. This individual will be responsible for supporting the growth of our annual orders and sales with specific focus on the Intelligence Community and DoD. • Provide conference and trade show leadership as the representative of the RMS SEMS BD Organization. This will entail collaboration and working with Lockheed Martin Communications, Washington Operations, Corporate Business Development, Corporate Strategic Development, Corporate CTO, Corporate Treasury and others as required • Establishing and executing win and growth strategies and investment plans. • New Business Funds / Opportunity Hub Management • Support in development of Integrated Resource Planning, Long Range Planning and Strategic Financial Model activities • Position will be located at King of Prussia, PA / Northern Virginia, VA / Washington D.C Who we are: Lockheed Martin is the premiere provider of advanced sensing capabilities to the US and Allied Partners. Basic Qualifications • Previous Experience in DoD / Intelligence Community-related Business Development • Established and successful reputation in the business market, relationships • An aptitude for strategic, financial analysis, capture management and teaming • Diplomatic, persuasive and articulate communication style to establish and maintain rapport with internal and external senior executives • Knowledge and experience of the federal acquisition process • Proactive, superior attention to detail, project management, and organizational skills • Business acumen, strong analytical and problem solving skills, reliability and sound judgment • Passion for personal accountability, achievement, learning and continual improvement • Ability to articulate complex issues into succinct, cohesive summaries and presentations • Proclivity towards teaming and collaborationmust be a team player with excellent communication and presentation skills Desired skills • Previous Industry or Government Business Development/Program Management/New Business Capture/Acquisition experience / One LM Mindset in looking across LM to provide differentiated, Innovative solutions • Experience working in information warfare that includes Counter-C5ISR-T, Electronic warfare and/or Cyber • Understanding of U.S. Military Policy and associated Strategy • Desired Skills: TS/SCI / CI Poly (Preferred) Lockheed Martin is an equal opportunity employer. Ability to work remotely Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $109,200 - $192,510. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
