Description: The Product Development Engineering, Tech 1 is
required to work within a team to assist in New Product Development
and troubleshooting in support of the Reagent and Instrument Plants
for the client COR product line. Additionally the Tech 1 candidate
will have proven Technical Writing skills that will apply to
drafting/updating Laboratory and/or Manufacturing Instructions The
ideal candidate will have 1-2 years in a professional biotech
environment, although education and academic experience may be
substituted. B.S. in a related Life Science is preferred but not
required. Duties and Responsibilities Experience working in a GLP
laboratory environment; preparing buffers and solutions using
routine laboratory techniques and skills. Working knowledge of
general laboratory equipment such as Pipets, Balances, Mixers,
Sonicators, pH meters, etc Ability to read and execute Standard
Manufacturing Procedures with supervision Effective communication
skills and the ability to work effectively with large
multifunctional teams Technical Writing; familiarity with
scientific/technical terms and nomenclature for writing/updating
Microsoft Word documents and/or work instructions based on input
from team members. Collect, record, and interpret experimental
results and present data to scientific peers and supervisor/manager
either orally or in writing. Additional Preferred Skills
Familiarity with SAP Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel,
Outlook 1 year job related experience
